What is crossfit?
CrossFit is a general physical preparedness program. It views your body as a machine. Machines have one purpose: they do work. Our goal in CrossFit is to increase your machine's work capacity over a broad range of modes and across time. Simply put our training program will allow you to do more work, faster with more intensity, for a longer period of time.
We do this by using many types of equipment, different weights and many different exercises. The equipment includes things like kettlebells, medicine balls, rowing machines, olympic barbells for olympic lifts, pull up bars and plyo boxes, just to name a few. We train in 10 primary areas of fitness and specialize in none.
CrossFit is "scalable" which means that anyone, at any fitness level can do it. Trying CrossFit will open your eyes to a completely different way of working out. You'll see a supportive exciting community encouraging and motivating their peers to help their machine become more capable, more durable and to be able to increase its work capacity.
