CrossFit Juneau brought CrossFit to Juneau and introduced the community to new fitness options in 2013. Our objective is and has always been consistent and simple: We Provide the most effective and comprehensive strength and conditioning program available. We can scale all of our workouts to ensure people of all fitness levels can get what they are looking for in their workout program. MORE support, MORE variety, MORE fun, and most importantly, MORE results.
We are a family owned gym and we are comitted to building a CrossFit community here in Juneau that includes all the camaraderie, encouragement, and positive support that surrounds CrossFit. We are interested in seeing our athletes develop and improve their technique, their strength, as well as their stamina and endurance. We want them to live life to it's limits. Our CrossFit programming is focused on creating stronger, more capable individuals. Our goal is to allow our athletes to be able to do all the activities that they want to do in life better, faster and longer!

What is CrossFit?
CrossFit is a general physical preparedness program. Our goal in CrossFit is to increase your work capacity over a broad range of modes and across time. Simply put our training program will allow you to do more work, faster with more intensity, for a longer period of time. We do this by using many types of equipment, different weights and many different exercises. The equipment includes things like kettlebells, medicine balls, rowing machines, olympic barbells for olympic lifts, pull up bars and plyo boxes, just to name a few. We train in 10 primary areas of fitness and specialize in none. CrossFit is "scalable" which means that anyone, at any fitness level can do it. Trying CrossFit will open your eyes to a completely different way of working out. You'll see a supportive exciting community encouraging and motivating their peers to help their machine become more capable, more durable and to be able to increase its work capacity. |
